"Jitterbug!" marks the spot on your road to discovery. Based on an original screenplay, the play had its first reading in NYC at the legendary National Black Theatre thanks to noted director Petronia Paley. She also directed its most recent NYC reading at the New Works Festival sponsored by Emerging Artists Theatre. Movie star Khalil Kain starred in the leading role and it had dance numbers by Emmy nominated choreographer Jeffrey Page. Additional information on it can be found here. Thanks, Gladys. If you're the "V" I remember, that means we've known each other since... (gulp) middle school, aka Westview Junior High. Whoe that is going WAY too far back. But thanks so much for remembering me. I remember you too, one of those good looking smart girls who served on student councils and such and who were way out of my league. Good to see you traveled the world. Hopefully your life has been healthy, fun, and fulfilling.
